I have good news and bad news: The good news is that I have Jenny’s wedding video ready to post, the bad news is that I couldn’t shrink the video because the hard drive in the iMac croaked. A replacement 1TB drive is on the way.
The wedding was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it very much. I can definitely say that Jenny’s friends are crazier than Brack’s. On to the video!
Apparently Kathy can’t have caffeine before the appointment. When trying to measure the baby’s pulse, it was once again doing cartwheels and the croc death roll. Everything was fine. Kathy was up 4lbs from the last appointment to 125lbs now. She’s up about 7lbs overall. She should start putting on a pound a week now… for 20 weeks
The baby is about the length of a banana now. It is about 6.5″ now and 10oz. It is using that extra 3-4oz from last month to kick its mom whenever and wherever it can… and occasionally its dad. It kicked me in the hand before, but I got a real thud yesterday. It was solid. Kathy is now feeling the kicking without putting her hand on her belly. I’m sure that the baby will calm down any time now…
The baby has been kicking since yesterday. Kathy was sleeping with her hand on her belly and some light tapping on her hand woke her up. She woke me up to make sure that I could feel it too. I felt it about 5 times before the baby decided to go back to doing whatever it does the rest of the time. Again today, the baby has kicked numerous times. I think it will become more regular and as the baby grows, more pronounced. Right now it feels like a firm, but light tap. I’m looking for a thud later on, we’ll see.
