Walking!…. sort of
She’s pushing herself around in her walker now. Sorry for the bad video quality. Stupid iPhone.

Olivia has her first ear infection this month. I learned some things at the docs… babies can not get sinus infections because children do not have sinuses until about age 5. Secondly, the color of snot means jack. Darker snot just means a higher concentration of snot that is just more or less dirty. Pus that is in snot from infection or illness is actually clear.
And now for the important news. We went back to Children’s this week and Olivia has gained 3 lbs in less than two months. Thats awesome for her. She poops like “normal” kids now and is finally back on the growth charts again. She’s only at 3%, but thats better than off the bottom of the chart. She weighs about 12.5lbs now and is nearly 25″ long. Her head is still in the 15% range. Mine was 95%, still is, so I know where she gets it from.
Here’s some pics. Video will follow tomorrow. If they do not, blame Kathy.
This is the second time this happened in a row, and the second time ever.
Long story short… so that I don’t get a million calls asking what the deal is, Olivia is supposed to go to see a gastro doc and was supposed to go early this week. The doc is busy and Olivia will be going next Monday. Our doc said that it is fine to wait until then. That is all the info I have.
Olivia just figured out that she has arms and that she can hold herself up. This isn’t the best pic, we missed the good stuff, but you get the point. She just figured out last week how to hold her head up really well.
She’s still about the same as the past couple of weeks. She’s sleeping a lot more during the day now too… probably 15+ hours a day.
A little older and a little fatter. She sleeps the entire night now, every night. Her next appointment is in a couple of weeks. She’ll be 4 months old in a week.
