Ok, we had pictures done at the lake in October…..time to share LOTS more than just the ones on the x-mas card.

Jon is currently out of town on business and I got Olivia to once stand still for a picture….I told her its for her daddy! Wanted to share.

Some of you may or may not know that we have an elevator that we use on a daily basis to get downstairs to the basement/garage.  Olivia gets to ride in it as well and she really likes it. Today this happened….watch the video.

Ok, so I was potty training Olivia right before she turned one. I would put her on her frog after naps and she would pee in it every other time. She was sick a bunch so I slacked off on it and I should not have. Now she is walking and I can’t really put her on the frog since it sits on the ground. So, we now have to put her on the big toilet with a kids seat on it, that way she can’t just take off.

This weekend we put her on the toilet a bunch and she just sat there and stuffed stickers and toilet paper down in the bowl. She knows the word “pee pee” and heads straight for the bathroom but just sits there and likes to be entertained by mama. After trying all day she finally said “pee pee” on her own, so I followed her to the bathroom put her on the potty and after some convincing and grunting on MY part she grunted some and pooped like a big girl. At the end I let her flush and she got a kick out of watching everything disappear……while I held her hands or otherwise they would have ended up in the toilet!

We are wayyyyy overdue for some posts, so I’m making time now since Jon posted some videos.

Olivia is turning into a toddler, fast. The week of christmas she started walking without help, now she prefers walking over crawling.
She recently discovered her eyelashes and will violently pull on them or walk up to you and pull on yours. She loves to throw the cats kisses and will give us some as well.
After months of trying and practicing she finally can push the home buttom on our iPhones to make the screen come up, she loves it every time (probably because she can see her own picture).
She can also blow her nose when its runny or not. You can give her a tissue and she attempts do clean it herself or just tell her to blow while you hold the tissue for her.
She can give high five.
She can stack shaped blocks (puzzle).
You can tell her “brush brush” and she’ll brush her teeth with her mini toothbrush.
She will talk on the phone, even when no one is on the other end.
She’ll share her food with you, sometimes right out of her mouth. As of now, she is like a garbage disposal and eat whatever you put in front of her.

She already had her hand in toilet water and finally she is repeating “NO”…let the fun begin.

So, I finally managed to make some time for a post (Olivia is napping and Jon went riding)!

Last Sunday we had Olivia’s Birthday Party, we only invited family since she wont remember any of this!
Oncle Jeff and soon to be aunt Ashley came for a visit from LA and Olivia (and Mommy) enjoyed the entertainment.  Thanks to everyone for coming, this was a great day for all of us!

Took me long enough to post some videos of our beach vacation!

Ohhh boy, Olivia made my day yesterday by saying “Mama”!

When I got home from the gym she was sitting in her highchair getting antsy for me to get her out. As I was reaching for her, still talking to Jon not really paying attention to her, she started talking and there came “Mama” out of her mouth!
The moment was great but short because as soon as I got her out I realized I had poop on my hand!

It was awesome, but the greatest thing is that she actually knows who I am…..or does “mama” mean pick me up?
Anyway she keeps saying it, we’ll see if she keeps it up!

Olivia had her 9 month check up the other day and she is now 17 1/2 pounds and 27 1/2 inches tall. We switched her to size 3 diapers. She is also anemic and we now give her Iron in her bottle everyday.

Olivia is growing up fast: she now can wave at you, and even clap her hands together. She gives us kisses….with her mouth open, and she likes to stand up holding on to the coffee table or the couch!
Its about time she says “Mama”.

Oh, and this past weekend she got another tooth on the bottom!!

Olivia loves eating Bananas, here are a couple of pics.

Beginning of June when Olivia was right at 7 months we had someone come out to the house to take family pictures but mostly take pictures of Olivia. Melissa from Powell drove all the way to our house on a sunday and took a bunch of pictures for 1 1/2 hours until Olivia was too tired. It was our first experience and it went great, we absolutely love the photos……now i have a hard time choosing which ones will go up on the wall (if you ever been to our house, there is not one personal/family photograph on the wall).
