Someone decided that she couldn’t see from a crawling perspective well enough. Just after I got home from my trip yesterday she pulled herself up and stood up for a while. She’s been doing it all day today too. I’m pretty sure this crawling thing will be a pretty short phase for her.
Beginning of June when Olivia was right at 7 months we had someone come out to the house to take family pictures but mostly take pictures of Olivia. Melissa from Powell drove all the way to Kingston on a sunday and took a bunch of pictures for 1 1/2 hours until Olivia was too tired. It was our first experience and it went great, we absolutely love the photos……now i have a hard time choosing which ones will go up on the wall (if you ever been to our house, there is not one personal/family photograph on the wall).
If you need a professional come by your house or meet you somewhere here’s a place to start www.mhillphotography.com.
Olivia loves her rice puffs and I like them too…. they keep her entertained for a long time normally . I have figured out to spread them out, otherwise she’ll pick up a handful and just eat one and drop the rest. This video was from more than a week ago. She’s pretty quick at eating them now. She’ll hold her paci in one hand and eat puffs with the other.
This is a rather long video of Olivia talking back to us. We have noticed that she will watch your lips closely now and that she will move her lips as she was talking without making a sound!
She’s finally cut the corner of her lower front/left tooth through (thats #24, the central incisor for you dental folks). She’s mostly happy, but gets grumpy quickly, and frozen stuff seems to do the trick. Her nose is like a faucet, and she doesn’t care for that really. Overall she’s doing very well. We’ll post some pics over the next couple of weeks as soon as we can see more.
Thanks to mom for watching her last night. Olivia wasn’t a happy camper.
Olivia has more wheel time in dad’s new boat than anyone. She particularly likes to slobber on the steering wheel, and even managed to put the boat into neutral once.
She’s nearing 8 months old and still likes to make spitting noises. She’s getting into a deeper, more fart sounding noise. She especially likes to do this while eating and spits on Kathy as often as possible. I think she just likes me better.
We haven’t posted any pictures in a while, so here are some of her on the floor that I took tonight. She was sort of crawling toward me and tried to get the camera. Enjoy!
